Walks
The main activity for all fitness levels, from short strolls to strenuous mountain hikes. There are many rambling possibilities starting directly from the house.
Here are some suggestions:
Petit Ballon (1272 metres; 1½ hours on foot)
Hilsenfirst (1274 metres; 2 ½ hours on foot GR532)
Grand-Ballon (1424 metres; 8 hours return on foot)
The Linthal farms and hamlets (4 hours on foot) Steinberg (1177 metres; 4 hours on foot)
Langenfeldkopf (1290 metres; 6 hours on foot taking the GR532)
Lautenbach, Murbach (famous abbey) and the 5 chapels and wayside shrines in Linthal
Guebwiller is situated on the Alsatian wine route and the "Route Romane". Its churches date from the 12th and 14th centuries.
